Get to Know Mike Mills

A lifelong Hudson Valley resident, Mike grew up and continues to live in Red Hook, NY. He graduated from Red Hook High School, where he was a dedicated member of the Red Hook/Rhinebeck Varsity Wrestling team. Mike earned an Associate’s Degree from Dutchess Community College and worked in the mental health field for 11 years before launching his career with State Farm. Prior to opening his own agency, Mike gained nearly 5 years of experience assisting Hudson Valley families with their insurance needs.

Life Outside the Office

When Mike isn’t helping customers, he enjoys quality time with his wife, two sons, and their dogs — a 14-year-old rescue and Olaf, a 3-year-old yellow lab often found in the office. He’s a passionate fan of Star Wars, hockey, and comic books. Mike actively coaches youth hockey in Saugerties and soccer in Red Hook. He’s also a member of the Red Hook Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Board of Directors for Saugerties Youth Hockey and Hudson Valley Coaches Against Cancer.

On his downtime, you might find Mike playing adult hockey leagues across Saugerties, Poughkeepsie, and Newburgh.
